I spent my entire training involved in development with Java. The training period was six months and within that six months, I worked under GTO (Global Technology Office) which is keen in engineering rigor automation activities associated with all the projects carried within the company. While i was working in the GTO, i got the opportunity to work with the top class figures in Virtusa, Chief software architect and Head of GTO Mr.C.Mendis and many people. I was trained under his supervision and worked with mainly two main projects handled by my self under the supervision and according to the requirements of Mr.Mendis.
This is the place where I got my hands on Java. I worked on two main projects. First one is developing a tool to create patch files. This is very much useful in creating patch files for software when a new version releases.
Second one was the most important and complex project, creating a replacement for JDepends with new added features. From this I gained a massive knowledge of code analysis, Java Bytecode and recursive methods. I'll keep you guys posted regarding these projects along with technical design and everything. In fact this was the motivation for me to start this blog and share my thoughts and knowledge through out the world. My expectation of this blog is that some day, this blog will get googled and you all will be able to acquire my knowledge gain in my training, six months at Virtusa.
